There is something to be said for white. I don't play in to the whole "not after Labor Day" motto. Fashion is all about taking risks, is it not? However, in the summer, this white skirt makes me look about 5 shades tanner than I really am, which I love.

ASOS Plain Chiffon Full Midi Skirt, $60.34 USD (shown with H&M tank and Old Navy belt)
This is one of my favorite skirts. It has a vintage look to it, and is the most vibrant color of blue-green.

Anthropologie Decade-by-Decade skirt by Tracy Reese, no longer available (shown with H&M tank and Old Navy belt)
Much to my (pleasant) surprise, J.Crew jumped on the midi bandwagon with the introduction of the Jardin skirt. I immediately bought one in (almost) every color (as much as I wish I could, I cannot pull off purple).

I have a deep, burning love for Club Monaco, but unfortunately, not the deep, burning pocket that would need to coincide. I love this skirt, but with a $200+ price tag, I just can't/won't justify its purchase.

Club Monaco Pamera Skirt, $224.97
Instead, I purchased this boy boy, which comes in a close second. At 5'5 1/2" (the half counts) tall, I am by no means petite, but I'm going to will this skirt to work for me. I haven't recieved it yet, but will keep you updated on whether or not I can fake it.

ASOS Petite Pleated Midi Skirt, $60.34
Last but not least, my OOTD. I turned to a Shabby Chic look (thank you H&M), and think it delivered quite nicely. Of course, statements to the contrary are always welcome. I am a gracious acceptor of constructive criticism.

H&M bronze (pleated!) dress, H&M cardigan, Old Navy belt, Target pumps
Have a delightful Wednesday.
